Vinita Bahadur (Founder & Director) – Aashiana is the brainchild of Vinita. In 2011, she received a vision and call to serve underprivileged women and children suffering with HIV/AIDS. Before founding Aashiana, Vinita worked with Christian Aids National Alliance (CANA) as a program officer for 5 years. In this tenure she was successful in spreading AIDS awareness in remote areas in Northeast India, South India, Uttarakhand, Maharastra and New Delhi. Prior to this she was a teacher for 2 decades and taught in several renowned schools in North & South India.
Aiyesha Bahadur (Project Director) Aiyesha has nearly a decade of experience in the Tourism & Hospitality sector, specializing in Sales & Marketing. She worked directly and indirectly with leading hotel chains and tourism boards in Southeast Asia. Prior to this she had the privilege of beginning her work career with one of the finest Indian journalists, Mr.M.J. Akbar and also worked indirectly with late Mr.Ram Jethmalani in 2010. Aiyesha joined Aashiana in 2018 and hopes to expand and grow the organization in order to support more HIV positive families.
Alice Deka (Administrative Officer) Alice joined Aashiana in 2018 and assists us with managing and distributing information within and outside the office. She also assists us with managing our projects and making travel and meeting arrangements.
